桐昆集团股份有限公司是一家以PTA、聚酯和涤纶纤维制造为主业的大型股份制上市企业，地处杭嘉湖平原腹地桐乡市。企业前身是成立于1982年的桐乡县化学纤维厂，经过三十年的发展，现拥有总资产130多亿元，下辖5个直属厂区和13家控股企业，员工14000余人。2011年5月，桐昆股份（601233）成功登陆资本市场，成为嘉兴市股改以来第一家主板上市企业。

    公司现已具备200万吨聚合和250万吨涤纶长丝年生产加工能力，居世界涤纶长丝企业产能和产量之首。公司主导产品为“GOLDEN COCK”牌、“桐昆”牌涤纶长丝以及聚酯切片，涤纶长丝有POY、DTY、FDY（中强丝）、复合丝和平牵丝等五大系列300多个品种，聚酯切片有大有光、半消光、阳离子等多个品种。其中，“GOLDEN COCK”牌涤纶长丝是中国化纤行业首批“中国名牌产品”；“桐昆”牌商标被认定为“中国驰名商标”，“桐昆”牌产品畅销国内，并远销南美洲、欧洲、中东、南非、韩国、越南等40多个国家和地区。

        Brief  Introduction

        Tongkun Group is a listed joint-stock limited company with large scale which mainly produces PTA, PET chips and polyester filament yarn. It is located in Tongxiang which is the hinterland of Hangzhou-Jiaxing-Huzhou Plain. Tongkun Group, whose predecessor was the Tongxiang Chemical Fibre Factory established in 1982, presently owns total assets of more than RMB 13 billion, 5 directly affiliated factories and 13 share holding enterprises under administration with more than 14,000 staffs through 30 years of development. In May 2011, Tongkun Company Share (601233) entered the capital market successfully and has been the first listed company on Main Board since the beginning of share reform in JiaXiang.

        Now Tongkun has the annual production and processing capacity of 2 million tons of polymerization and 2.5 million tons of polyester filaments which make it rank first in the capacity and the output of polyester filament yarn in the world. The main products of Tongkun are polyester filament yarn and polyester chips with the famous brands of “Golden Cock” and “Tongkun”. The former covers 5 major series and more than 300 varieties: POY, DTY, FDY (including Medium Tenacity Yarn), Compound Yarn and FDY of two steps. The latter covers chips of bright, semi dull and cationic, etc. Among them, the “Golden Cock” polyester filament yarn has firstly won the title of Chinese Top Brand Products in this industry and the “Tongkun” has been identified as Chinese Well-known Trademark. The products of Tongkun are not only very popular in domestic market, but also have been exported to more than 40 countries and districts like South America, Europe, Middle East, South Africa, South Korea and Vietnam.

        In Tongkun Group, excellent quality comes from both sophisticated equipment and outstanding management. More than 80% of production equipments are imported from Germany and Japan which make the production equipment in Tongkun reach the world-class level. As a key national high-tech enterprise under the guidance of the strategy of “vigorously develop industry by science and technology”, Tongkun is always being the leader domestically both in production and research of polyester filament yarn, relying on both some state-accredited laboratories and the platform of the technology center and technology innovation team of their own province, with more than 20 years of deep study of the chemical fiber production technology. A number of science research and high-tech products have been filled up the blank in the domestic area with independent intellectual property rights. Meanwhile, Tongkun has participated in establishment of various industry standards, has paid great attention to the establishment of a science management system and already passed the ISO9000 Quality Management System Certification, ISO14001 Environment Management System Certification, Measurement System Certification, Standardization of Good Behavior, and actively carried out 5S, TPM management, Excellent Performance Mode and 6σ Management in the daily management which lay a firm foundation for quality assurance.

        Since 2002, Tongkun Group has been among Top 500 Chinese enterprises for 11 years and ranked the 317th in 2012 as the only one listed Top 500 enterprise in Jiaxing City.
